Rap artist Charles Hannah aka Slhm Totta hails from Huntsville Alabama grew up in L.P aka Lincoln Projects a trechous area known for violence and gossipers and drug dealers in the north Alabama area grazed around him,His father was murded by a local drug dealer at the age of 3 and mother was a drug attic and raised of the custody of his Auntie sense he was 5 and passed away in his early adult hood he has alot of stories and memorals to talk about and alot of realness come from the youngman as his life growing up in some of the worst conditions Alabama has but has apsects of some of the best southeren music crafted an as formely Rap artist Slhm Totta step his game a bit for "Tru Soulja'z Liv it up P.1", improving as a rapper and songwriter and delivering two big hits in the process, "Luxury Whipz" and "Night Hustlen." (A Hoodlum Habit)?, the duo's debut release two years earlier, had set the Slhm Totta apart from the other, and considerably younger, artists, Unlike them,Yet, for as much game as he can spit, the Slhm proved to be so-so rapper on "A hoodlum Habit"often overshadowed by his Thuggn,Gun Toughten protégés. However, during the two-year interim leading up to."Tru Soulja'z Liv it up P.1", He considerably improved his skills. Here, they're as good as any of your major artist, and he certainly boast and brag better, whether about money-making ("Gotta Make Money," "Night Hustlen"), Shinen ("Exotic Ol Skoolz""March Wit It"), women-mastering ("She Bound Wit It," "Shakn what she got"), or Him-Self ("I B'z Dat," "Trouble-Hard times"). Moreover, Slhm Totta deliver a rambunctious club-banger with the album-opening "Bout Dat Action." Following this rowdy beginning of "Tru Soulja'z Liv it up P.2"Bezzled Slim, the album moves toward its other highlights -- "Real Nicca Wigsplitter," "Thang," and "Fade 2 Black" -- before descending into guest-laden complacency. As usual,CountenStackz and Tru beats remain affecting until the album's end, but the songwriting grows progressively less so, often seeming unlabored, as if the Slhm Totta are content to ride out the remainder of his 20-track album after delivering the early-album highlights. Regardless of this common grievance, Slhm impressively step up his game for Tru Soulja'z Liv it up P.2 and deliver enough highlights to surely appease his fans. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
